Maybe don't see it as a fight. Maybe apply a little (Brazilian) Paulo Freire and see the structure oppressing us all requires us to collaborate to change it. I appreciate academics who appreciate management; it's a job, and it can perpetuate or mitigate troublesome socioeconomic biases. I do try to internalise the best of Freire's work through treating everyone involved as a co-constructor in a system that is ever changing because we decide to change it.
